Everyone can make a difference volunteering Habitat invites you to join in the effort to help families living in overcrowded, substandard circumstances to build a safe decent house they can afford to call their own and improve the standard of housing in Brunswick and Glynn County. Volunteers are welcome regardless of gender, race, profession of faith or level of skill! Youth between ages 14 and 18 must be accompanied and supervised by their
parent, guardian, or authorized adult leader of their group. Ways You Can Help… You do not need to be skilled to volunteer at a job site, just show up willing to help with the day’s task. Habitat will teach you what you need to know. Call Habitat to locate a build site. Summer-time construction starts at 8:am and lasts thru noon, Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Organize a workday for Habitat among your friends, neighbors, church, civic or office group. Write a check to enable Habitat for Humanity’s work to continue throughout Glynn County. Contributions are tax-deductible. Include Habitat in your estate planning and continue the legacy of helping others in need of decent shelter. Request a Habitat speaker for your civic group, church or business associates to become better acquainted with what Habitat does and how it works. Provide hospitality to the construction volunteers on a given work day, bringing mid-morning refreshments or even lunchtime sandwiches and drinks. Construction Volunteers
